Over the past year, I’ve been felling lost in the online world. At first, I thought it was because I didn’t have enough time to fit it into my busy life. So I created more time for myself. It worked for me for a few weeks, but after a while of sticking to a schedule and getting some great posts out there, I was still feeling lost.
So instead of forcing myself to write just for the sake, I decided to take time off from my blog. Which was the best decision I made! As the time off made me realise, I hated the direction my blog was going in, and was also falling out of love with Instagram.
During my time off from blogging, I decided the best thing to do was to ditch my current blog and start a whole new blog. Which at first I was upset about, as I had over 5 years worth of content, but knew if I didn’t do it I would never truly be happy with my blog.
I’m also not loving Instagram at the moment. So instead of forcing myself to like it to keep up with the trend, I’m just going to post on there when I feel like it and spend my time focusing more on producing great blog content I love and work more on Pinterest.
So here I am with a whole new blog. I though the process would be simple as I’ve been a part of the blogging world since 2009 and been officially blogging since 2013, but turns out even with years of experience you can still encounter problems. After several name changes, I’m finally back starting over with a blog name I love. I had planned on coming back sooner to the blogging world, but a lot has changed over the past few months.
My parents sold their house in Australia and we all moved back to the UK after 14 years. I knew the time was coming but never knew exactly when it would happen. I realized the process wouldn’t be easy, but didn’t expect it to be as hard as it was. Now I’m getting more settle and have a lot of free time until I get a job, I thought now was the best time to restart my blog.
So welcome to my new and improved blog, also if you’re ever feeling lost in the online world just know that you’re never alone.
